BUTEYKOKENT TRAINING PROGRAMME

The ButeykoKent programme includes:
   

* Eight hours of training based on five modules.
    * Two Optional Follow-up training sessions over twelve months.
    * Copies of “The Buteyko Guide to Better Asthma Management” & “The Carbon Dioxide Syndrome”
    * Twelve month follow up support by telephone/email/additional course days if needed.

What is Taught

    *    All adults and children over five years of age are taught how to take control of their condition naturally.
    *    Our therapy consists of Buteyko Breathing Clinic Method and other lifestyle guidelines that have been proven to considerably reduce symptoms
      and dependency on medication.
    *    All medication is continued alongside our program and following a number of weeks practice of exercises and upon improvement of symptoms,
       medication may be reduced only after consultation and recommendation by a medical doctor.
    *     Buteyko Breathing Clinic Method with extensive practice and correction of breathing
    *     Dietary guidelines, exercise and sports with asthma.
    *     Special breathing exercises for children
    *     Overcoming an asthma attack & all aspects of asthma management are addressed during our programme.
    *     Correct sleeping

ButeykoKent Programme:
    *     Workbook containing notes of main training material
    *     Email and telephone support for twelve months
    *     There is a maximum of five persons to a workshop to ensure that each person receives individual tuition.
    *     Attendance to eight hours of training over two to six weeks is more than sufficient to understand, apply and achieve very good results.
    *     If a person feels they need to attend a second course, they may do so at no extra cost.
    *     Our promise is to work with each person until they can correctly apply the programme and are achieving very good results.

What Does it Cost?

You may enrol on a Buteyko Course for £60, this covers the first module, workbook, textbook, telephone / e-mail support & sufficient instruction to get you started.
The cost for the full programme and training material is £300 with10% discount if paid at the start, otherwise you may “pay as you train” £60 for each module.
A reduced rate of £100 applies to additional family members attending together at the same sessions.
The fee for children is £225 with 10% discount if paid at the start. Children under eighteen years should be accompanied by an adult. Although not essential, children are better motivated when a parent also does the course.

ButeykoKent Asthma Refund Guarantee:
ButeykoKent guarantee is that if, one month after attending the fifth module, you do not experience a substantial improvement in your condition, you may attend a follow-up clinic at no extra charge. If, after attending this follow-up and practicing the breathing exercises for one month, you have not experienced a substantial improvement in your condition, you will receive a full refund on the cost of the program. This guarantee is restricted to asthma patients as it is relatively easy to assess improvement by reduction of need for medication, reduced incidence of attacks and better exercise tolerance.
